1. Texture – texture is the characteristics and patterns that occur on different natural and man-made surfaces like rocks, concrete, carpet, etc.

2. Colour – colour is the brightness and vibrancy of a photo, it can include bright colours like pink or yellow, or darker colours like grey or brown. Brighter colours can be used to give a strong natural contrast against darker background colours.

3. Space – space is the emptiness or openness in a photograph, it’s the areas that contain no subjects, and the emptiness is the subject rather than a focused object.

4. Lines – lines can be used to divide images into different sections and areas to avert the viewers perspective to a certain subject in each section. It can also be used to show unique patterns and textures that you wouldn’t usually notice in the regular world.

5. Focus – To experiment with Focus is to experiment with how clearly you can see something. I captured photos that heavily contrast between foreground and background all because of the focus, this unique effect either makes you to pay more attention to the foreground, or look out for what in the background you can make out.

6. Time – Time can be to capture the heat of an action/movement at the perfect moment. It can be milliseconds before or after it takes place, or perfectly timed to the moment. However another way you can capture it is by showing the power of time, the way something ages over time or the way things disappear after a while.

7. Frame
